I know I have not listed what I already have planted, but I also didn't take very good notes with my first batch of seeds. However, I planted an entire new crop of seeds on the 20th. I probably planted way too much of some things, but I'm not sure how many plants per person are normal -- I suppose only experience will tell.

For almost all of the types I planted three cells-worth of seeds. Starting from the left, I have: Tiny Tim Tomatoes, Jack Be Little pumpkins, Early Jalapenos, Aline Strawberries (tried to grow these before and they didn't sprout), Arugula (like the Strawberries, I started these and they didn't sprout), Long Onions, Spinach - Baby variety (smaller leaves), and a flower type - Blue Sweet Peas.

I actually planted 9 cells with the Spinach, since I really like Spinach and I'm hoping they all sprout. I probably should have staggered my planting, but as what happens when someone does something exciting and new, I just couldn't help myself. I currently have two Spinach "seedlings" and they are about two inches tall.

I'd really like strawberries, but I think I'm just going to purchase the actual plants to put outside since I'm planning on having at least one 4 foot by 4 foot area to plant a pumpkin plant (Sweet Baby Sugar Pie is the name, I believe). I had planted that particular seed just for funsies because I thought for sure that would be the one seed to not sprout...I was very wrong!

The pumpkin plant sprouted very fast, and it is the largest one of course. Now, the thought of having my very own home-grown pumpkins for Halloween is very appealing! I'm hoping they do well once transplanted outside. I am also going to have outside a tomato plant or two - I have three different varieties growing at the moment - Super Sweet 100, Cherry, and "Bloody Butcher" tomatoes. I'm not actually a big tomato fan, but more because most tomatoes are bland or bad-tasting. I'm hoping my organically grown tomatoes taste better!

Also, sometime in between last night around 11:00pm and this morning at 4:00am, I had some lettuce plants sprout in one cell, so I'm excited about that as well.

Most of my plants will be indoor plants. I have one set of shelves that the seed trays are resting on at the moment, with a 4 foot shop light that has one 6500k daylight and one 2700k plant & aquarium bulb for lighting. As my plants mature I am going to transplant them into larger containers and have more lights set up, and on a different set of shelves. Later on, I plan on purchasing a large wire rack so as to accommodate two shop lights per shelf to get the maximum amount of light/lumens possible for my plants.
